The Roscoe, Rockton, and South Beloit Fire and Police Departments will face off in the Tri-City Challenge Battle of the Badges Blood Drive benefitting the Rock River Valley Blood Center.
The drive will happen over two days:
- Saturday, March 2 at the South Beloit Fire Station (429 Gardner St., South Beloit, IL) from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 5 at the Rockton Fire Department (201 N Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, IL) and the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department Station #1 (10544 N. Main St., Roscoe, IL) from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The departments invite the community to donate blood to help save lives and gain bragging rights for the department that receives the most donations. Walk-ins are welcome.
All donors will receive a free, commemorative t-shirt (while supplies last), Culver’s Pint for a Pint certificate and will be entered in a drawing for a $500 gift card, two golf passes to Forest Preserve of Winnebago County courses, and two tickets to Classic Cinema in Beloit.
